Certifications and Test Reports

Every certificate below is held by our manufacturer, Shandong Baolongda Industry Group Co., Ltd (unified social credit code 91370724761861075L), whose production site in Linqu, Weifang, Shandong is the single source of SIKEN sealants. We publish the certificate numbers and validity dates so buyers can verify them directly with the issuing body.

What each certificate covers

• ISO 9001:2015 — quality management applied to the production of silicone and modified silicone sealants, as well as structural silicone sealants for construction.
• ISO 14001:2015 — environmental management across the same production scope.
• ISO 45001:2018 — occupational health and safety management at the same site.
• CE Verification of Conformity under CPR EN 15651 — covers sealants for facade elements (-1), glazing (-2), sanitary joints (-3) and pedestrian walkway joints (-4), depending on the certificate.
• REACH SVHC screening — SGS confirmed that substances of very high concern remain below the 0.1% (w/w) threshold.
• RoHS — restricted substances including lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and phthalates.

Research and patents

Adhesion and durability in a sealant are decided by the chemistry behind it, not by the cartridge. Our manufacturing group holds invention patents on the intermediates used in its sealant formulations, including two that directly govern bonding performance:

The hydrolysis-resistant coupling agent addresses the failure mode that limits sealant life in humid and marine climates: the bond line absorbing moisture and losing adhesion over time. The stainless steel adhesion promoter is what allows the sealant to hold on stainless and coated metal surfaces where conventional silicone needs a primer.

Patent certificates are held by Shandong Baolongda Industry Group Co., Ltd and copies are available on request. Further patents and utility models covering formulation and cartridge design are held under the same group.

Transport classification

Sealant looks harmless until a forwarder asks for a dangerous goods declaration. Our silicone sealant range has been formally assessed for sea freight, and the result removes that step entirely.
